About the role
As a Senior Data Engineer at NCompas, you'll design and build the data platforms that power analytics, AI, and decision-making for our clients — robust pipelines, well-modeled data, and cloud-native architecture on the Microsoft data stack.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines across enterprise sources.
- Model and maintain data warehouses and lakehouses for analytics and ML workloads.
- Build on Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric, with strong SQL and Python.
- Implement data quality, lineage, monitoring, and governance across the platform.
- Partner with analysts, data scientists, and client stakeholders to turn requirements into reliable data products.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a data engineer building enterprise data pipelines and cloud data architecture.
- Hands-on with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong SQL and Python; solid grasp of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and orchestration.
- Experience with data quality, observability, and governance practices.
- A clear communicator comfortable working directly with stakeholders.
